TATTOO REMOVAL

We are proud to offer Li-FT Saline Tattoo Removal!

If you are unhappy with your existing brow tattoo, Li-FT is a safe and highly effective pigment lightening solution that can lighten and remove pigment from the skin. LiFT is unique to other methods in that it uses a specialized formula of saline, salt, and fruit extracts. When applied under the skin it lifts pigment out of the underlying tissues through a process known as Osmosis. Most of the pigment will be released in the following days through external scabbing, however, some of the particles will be absorbed and removed through the body’s immune system. Li-FT is safe enough to remove areas as delicate as the eyebrows, but powerful enough to remove stubborn colors not removed by laser. Li-FT is effective on all skin types including darker skin tones. In most cases no scar tissue is left, and the skin appears to be healthy and can be tattooed again if desired.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?

The number of Li-FT treatments needed is based off your specific tattoo. Some contributing factors include: number of times the area was tattooed, age of tattoo, type of pigment used, and depth of the tattoo. Sessions should be scheduled a minimum of six weeks apart to allow for proper healing and lightening. Most clients require 3 or more sessions spaced 6 weeks apart. Once the tattoo is lightened enough, coverup or corrective work can be done if desired.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

$175 / per session

Most require 3 or more sessions spaced 6 weeks apart to remove completely.

SALINE REMOVAL AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

It is critical to follow all aftercare instructions to prevent complications, scarring, and to achieve best results. Please read carefully.

KEEP AREA CLEAN and open to the air. Do not cover with a Band-Aid or anything else, leave open to air. Air/oxygen provides the best healing environment. You should not be touching the area at all. If you find yourself needing to, please make sure your hands are clean.

DAY 1-7: CLEAN 3-4 TIMES PER DAY by blotting brows with saline solution applied to cotton round or paper towel). NO ICE OR WATER.

DO NOT SOAK the treated area in water for 2 weeks. You can shower as normal but keep the area out of the shower spray the best you can and do not let the area stay wet for more than a few seconds. It is best to keep area dry. If you do accidentally get the area wet, gently pat dry. Blot with saline immediately following a shower.

DAY 1-14: NO BATHING, SWIMMING, SAUNAS, HOT TOBS, OR TANNING
DO NOT APPLY MAKEUP, SKINCARE, OR SELF TANNER TO AREA.

AVOID PICKING / SCRATCHING: DO NOT disrupt the scabbing process and treat the area gently (i.e. no picking, scratching, rubbing.) All scabbing/flaking needs to slough off naturally. If you pick a scab off you will disrupt the process and may cause scarring. It is critical to keep the scabs on as long as possible to achieve best results.

ONCE ALL SCABBING/FLAKING HAS NATURALLY FALLEN OFF (usually around 7 days post treatment): apply one drop Vitamin E oil 3-4 times a day for a minimum of 4 weeks, or until next lightening session. DO NOT start applying the Vitamin E oil until all scabbing has naturally and completely fallen off. It is our goal to keep the area as dry as possible until all scabs have naturally fallen off. (I have provided enough Vit E oil to get you started. If you run out, it is inexpensive to purchase and is worth it to have a supply at home while going through the removal process.)

If at any time you have green or yellow discharge in the area, this is a sign of infection and you should contact your provider and your doctor immediately.

If you lose/run out of any of your aftercare kit, the supplies are easily purchased online / in store.
(Saline Wound Wash and pure Vitamin E Oil)

***Lightening and/or removing unwanted pigment is not an instant process and patience is required. Please be patient and give the process a fair chance to work. Multiple sessions are often required to lighten the existing tattoo enough to work over.***

How many sessions needed depends on several factors: how saturated the pigment is (lighter colors will remove more easily), how deep it was implanted in the skin, the age of the tattoo (older tattoos can be more difficult to remove), how many times the area was tattooed, the ink/pigment used in the skin.

As a result of these factors, results cannot be exactly predicted or guaranteed. 2-6 removal sessions scheduled at minimum 6 weeks apart is recommended for most cases.
