PLEASE NOTE:

Sun exposure must be avoided BEFORE and AFTER microblading or any permanent makeup procedure. Face/Brows can not be sun-burnt at time of appointment. You will also need to avoid major sun exposure, getting the brows wet, and heavy sweating for 10-14 days following the treatment.

WILL MICROBLADING WORK WELL FOR ME?

If you have very OILY or POROUS skin, microblading will NOT work well for you. The over-production of oil can cause the hair-strokes to heal with a diffused, softer look. Other permanent makeup options are more appropriate such as Ombre / Powder Brows, Fusion Brows, or Nano Brows.

If you are a frequent smoker, your pigment may fade sooner.

If you have sun-damaged or sensitive skin, you are not a good candidate for microblading.
If you are iron deficient or anemic, your pigment may fade sooner and bleeding/bruising may occur during and after the procedure.

WHAT FACTORS WILL AFFECT MY COSMETIC TATTOO?

Bleeding during the procedure: Any bleeding during the treatment will reduce the amount of pigment retained in the skin.

Caffeine, alcohol, and any medications that act as blood-thinners should NOT be taken prior 48 hours prior to your appointment. This includes ibuprofen, fish oil, ADHD medications. Tylenol is OK)

Sun exposure: Freshly tanned/sunburnt skin is damaged skin. Tattooing on damaged, sensitive skin causes excessive bleeding and can create scarring from permanent makeup procedures. The sun will also soften and discolor the look of your tattoo, so sunblock should be used daily (once healed).

Aftercare Instructions: Failure to follow the aftercare diligently during the first 10-14 days of healing can contribute to less than desirable results. For example: sweating or hot showers during healing can distort the shape and color of hairstrokes when fully healed.

The regeneration of skin cells: The longer the regeneration takes, the longer the pigment holds in the skin.

Iron Deficiency: If you suffer from anemia or low iron this could affect the way your body reacts to the pigment. The pigment used contains iron oxide which can result in the hairstrokes to fade or change in hue due to your body absorbing the iron.

WHAT SHOULD I DO BEFORE MY PERMANENT MAKEUP PROCEDURE?

Do NOT drink any CAFFEINE or ALCOHOL the night before or day of your appointment. This is very important and will directly affect your healed results.

Do NOT take blood thinners 48 hours prior to treatment. This includes: Aspirin, Ibuprofen, ADHD meds, Niacin, Vitamin E, Fish Oil, Omega-3 Fatty Acid supplements.

Discontinue any prescription strength products (tretinoin, stronger retinol. chemical peels, topical antibiotics) a minimum of 1 month prior.

Discontinue any lash/hair growth products on brows for 1 month prior.

If you regularly get your eyebrows shaped, waxed, threaded or tinted, please do so at least 3 days before your appointment.

Do NOT tan or sunburn skin leading up to the appointment.

Do NOT work out or sweat heavily immediately before your appointment. You also need to avoid sweating 10-14 days after treatment.

If you plan to go on vacation/spend time in the sun, it is recommended you plan your trip at least 2 weeks after the procedure. It is recommended that you avoid tanning of the face 1 week prior to your procedure. If you show up for your appointment with a sunburn, you will need to reschedule and will forfeit your deposit.

AHA/BHA's and RETINOL: (lactic, glycolic, citric, retinoic and tartaric acids) or any products for tone-correcting, anti-aging, and exfoliating will discolor your microblading. Discontinue these 1-2 weeks prior depending on strength of product.

CANCELLATION POLICY / DEPOSIT

Although we see beautiful results on 99% of clients, healed results can not be guaranteed. A small percentage of individuals do not hold pigment well due to many factors including medications, skin health, and lifestyle. This can not be predicted. When booking, you accept that possibility.

In rare cases, a third session (at additional cost) may be required to achieve your desired healed result.

Anything booked beyond the 6-12 week time frame will be subject to a higher fee. NO EXCEPTIONS!
